Blogger gone missing

So I think I post about once a month. Yikes, that is so bad. I really want to do it more often, but I just don't know what to put up sometimes. I guess I like to post pictures more than words. I guess you will just have to take what you can get.
The latest family news: I am now 14 weeks along with baby #2 and things seems to be going well. My mom started her radiation treatment today. She will go 5 days a week for 6 weeks! Yeah, that's a lot! Hang in there mom, you can do it. :) I guess that is really it for now. Oh, my sister Jen is in hygiene school in Yakima where she lives, and is liking it so far. It is a 2 year program, so she has this year and next. I am very proud of her.
This last weekend we went to Snoqualmie Falls. It was pretty cool, since we had so much rain this last week. I haven't been there in forever. Kelly had fun, and she just wanted to walk around everywhere. It was very cute. So here are some pics from this last weekend.

It's Official...

My happy 1 year old!!
My baby just had her 1st birthday, and I am pregnant again!! What? I know crazy right, but we will get back to that one ( the pregnancy that is.) So we had Kelly's 1st bday party on saturday and it was a lot of fun. Kelly loves all her new toys and had a great time eating her cupcake. Thankfully auntie Kate was able to take some great pictures of that for me.

Kelly has really become quite verbal. She loves to talk to you, and of course I have no clue what she is saying, but she gets so into it. She has not started walking yet, but she has taken a couple steps here and there. I think the time is coming very soon when she will be walking full-time.

More family news: My mom has a second breast cancer surgery tomorrow to remove the remaining cancers cells, hopefully they will get it all this time. :) Let's pray they do. I really hope this is the last surgery and she can get on with the treatment, which is unknow at this time what that will be. Most likely radiation. Please pray for a sucsessful surgery tomorrow. :))

Also we found out a few weeks ago that we are having another baby. I am due May 10th. Pretty shocking, but exciting. Scott and I are hoping for a boy, but really we don't care. Just another healthy baby is all we hope for. :)

So basically that is about it for now. Just enjoying the fall smells and colors! Gotta get me some Chai tea.

August Already!?

It cannot believe it is already August!! In a month and a half Kelly will be 1 year! Amazing. It has been a decent summer so far. Kelly is the best traveler in the world!! We went to South Carolina for my brother-in-laws wedding in July and it was very nice. I think it was the fastest wedding I have ever attended. I guess those southern weddings are quick. Not like up here where it seems to be an all-day event!! Sometimes simple is very nice. Erica looked beautiful and Eric very handsome, what a good-looking couple. (see photo) Anyhow, getting back to Kelly, she was THE BEST girl!! She slept the whole plane ride there and back, and was so good the whole trip. I am truly blessed with her. She is just so happy and such an easy going temperament. Here are a few pics from the wedding.

I guess blogging hasn't been my thing lately. It has been a pretty busy summer so far. We went to seabrook with the moeller family and stayed a couple nights, which was so much fun. We have moved to our new house, and even put in our lawn in the backyard(with some help from the parents). Thank you!!! Also Kelly is 9 months old. :)) And we have also found out some sad news...my mom has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer, so I ask for prayers for her. She is going to be having surgery sometime this summer. It is a slow growing cancer called Ductal Carcinoma In Situ (DCIS). So as you can see a lot has been happening, some highs, some lows, just as life goes.

Pedialyte & Laundry...

I can't believe I am even writting a blog at this moment...I am so drained. This week has not been off to a great start at all!! It all started monday while we were at a BBQ, Kelly just freaked out and started crying. I thought maybe all the noise and people were scaring her, but come to find out later that night she got sick with the stomach virus. Oh yah, no fun at all!!! She has thrown up every day since monday night, although I think she might be on the mend this afternoon...she did manage to hold down her formula a bit earlier. Right now my poor baby is sleeping, thankfully, and I hope she sleeps this sickness out of her.

So I am pretty sure she got this from my mom, (sorry mom :) no hard feelings)...it started with my mom, and my sister got it too the same night. Then my dad and aaron the next day, and emily somewhere along the way. However poor Kelly has got it the worst. :(( By God's grace Scott nor I have come down with this bug. Let's pray it stays that way.

So besides all this mess, things have been very busy, and it's not over yet. This sunday we will get to see Scott's cousins from out of town, then wednesday Eric and Erica get here for a week, and then on the day they leave we have our new house walk-through, and then signing papers the last part of the week and then move the next week!!! Very crazy busy, but very exciting. Oh and somewhere in between all this I have to pack!! Yikes, I better get started. Hopefully net time I post, life will be a little bit more normal. Really though, what is normal??

It's getting closer

We are only 37 days away from moving into our new house! I still feels like someone should pinch me, am I still dreaming?. Once again I just have to say how blessed we are!! As far as I can tell, no other condos have sold in here where we live. Crazy! Aside from the house stuff, I had a wonderful mother's day...I was able to see both sets of parents, my sister and her fam and Scott's grandma from Arizona, his aunt and uncle and his cousin! We met in Bellevue at the Cheescake factory...yummy!! Oh and I was able to go shop at Crate and Barrel. Okay so I didn't buy anything, but I saw a lot of cool stuff. Anyhow, it was a really nice day. I hope eveyone had a great mother's day as well. :)
Here is a pic of our new house.

Update..

So we sold our condo yesterday...on paper anyway. We are going to be closing June 16th!! So exciting. God has been so good through this whole thing, and answering prayers in better ways than I can imagine. Ok so that is our house update...more house pics to come.
Kelly is 6 months old now and is doing wonderful. She is pretty off the charts for weight at 21.8 and her height is 90% on the growth chart. I am so blessed for her great health so far. She is learning to eat new foods and sit up and play. Fun stuff.

Cheap entertainment

Kelly really likes to ride in the laundry basket. And the best part about it, is that it's free!!! I love cheap entertainment. :) In other news we have have a person intersted in our condo. I really hope they decide they like it enough to give us an offer. Let's pray so. Anyhow, LOST is on tonight and that's exciting. Have a good night.

What happend to Maksim?

OK, no not the magazine(Maxim)....I'm talking about Maksim the dancer. Sad day he is no longer on dancing with the stars. :((( Why, Why! Anyhow, life is pretty much going as planned ok no that is not true because you cannot plan life. So we still have not had any offers on the condo. We went 3 weeks without a single person through...urgh. Thankfully we had 2 people come this weekend. It definitely lifted my spirits. Today we had an open house and 2 potential buyers came so that is good. Unfortunately we have a lot of competition out there in the condo world, and a handful here where we live. We are just praying that God will send the right buyer for our condo. Really it is all in His time and control. We are really learning trust and patience.
Let's see, family news...really not much. Our little Kelly is now 5-1/2 months and is mastering sitting up!! Oh and she also loves eating bananas. I am so blessed to have such a happy baby. Kelly has such a great smile and is just so much fun! In April we are planning to get a family photo taken by my brother(Chriswatkins.com) at the tulip fields. I can't wait! i hope the weather is nice when we go. :)
Ok, well enough for now. I guess I am not so good at the blogging life. More pics to come soon.

Patience

We have had our condo on the market 2 weeks tomorrow. So far we have had 3 showings. That is encouraging. I am really trying to have patience. I know, I know it's only been 2 weeks. I am just really excited about the new house. But I am trying to not get too excited so that I am not really dissapointed if we aren't able to get it. It all hinges on selling our condo. You know, it's really ok if we don't get this new house, because they are so many houses out there. I am sure we will be able to find something just as great!

Let's see, not much else going on. Kelly is doing really well. Happy as usual and just a joy. Oh and I love having a clean house everyday!! Once you get it really clean then it is pretty easy to maintain. :) One good thing about putting your house for sale.

Here is a good ol cell phone pic of our lot for our new house.

Beautiful girl

I hate to brag, but I love my girl! She is the best! Just like everyone else thinks of their own child. Kelly fills my heart with such joy! I love her so much, and I am thankful everyday God gives her to me!! Here are some pictures I took yesterday of her. Thanks Janis and Jeff for the darling overalls!!

A day in the life of Kelly

7:45 - Kelly wakes up, as always with a smile on her face. She starts off the day laughing at her mobile. However, it would be nice if she could sleep in another hour (doesn't she know it's my day off).

7:50 - The smile is short lived as she realizes that she is incredibly hungry. She makes her sort of whining/just short of crying sounds.

7:55 - Her diaper is changed, which she probably doesn't appreciate as much as she should.

8:00 - Kelly starts one of her favorite activites: Eating. It takes her about 20 minutes to eat, which includes a couple of breaks for some burps.

8:30 - She chills out and will sit with us on the couch for awhile.

9:00 - Kelly squirms around and whines a little, which means she's getting bored, so off she goes to her playgym. But first it's belly time.....

....... that's enough for now

You asked for it, you got it..

By reader demand, ok so only Angela asked but still I am sure more of you are intrested in our new house details. It is in Lakeland hills, not built yet and tomorrow we are going to sign a contract. Still not a for sure thing. I mean we HAVE to sell our condo first, so lately that is all I have been working on. By the end of next week we plan on listing our condo!!! Here is the floorplan of our potential new house! I am so excited!!

Target, it's great!

So tonight I went to Target. Probably one of my favorite stores next to Fred Meyer. I love the Bonney Lake Target!!! It's never crowded and I just love it! I got a few things for the house to spruce it up to sell. While I was strolling down the isle I ran into some friends of mine, and then a few minutes later some more friends. Crazy!! One of which I had just talked to earlier today. We were talking about how it's crazy how times have changed and that now our "night's out" consist of going to Target. Which, let me tell you, it's great! However I could spend a ton of money there. You have to be careful in those places. Anyhow it was a tiring day and am excited for tomorrow!! Not only is it the Seahawks game, we also get to go pick out lot out for our house we are trying to purchase. So exciting!!! We just pray that it all works out! If not then there will be something else out there for us. Go Seahawks!!!!!

Thursday, January 10, 2008

Ok so I was totally bumbed tonight. We went to the Cheesecake factory to have dinner tonight, and the wait was way too long!! 25-40 minutes! Dang. So that was way to long to wait with Kelly in tow. So we decided to go to good old Red Robin. There was no wait, the food was fast and overall good service. Oh and for some reason it was quiet in Red Robin, how often does that happen. It was really weird. I think next time we attempt to go to Cheesecake, we will go earlier or something or leave the little one at home. Anyhow, we are going to try to list our condo in 2 weeks. Hopefully we can get everything in order here to list it this soon. Not too much to do, but the whole ordeal is going to be stressful. Trying to keep the house clean everyday non-stop with a baby! Yikes. We will see how this goes. But we are super excited for the potential outcome. If all works out we will have a great new house, and that will be all worth it.

Car Repairs

Yah, so I pretty much hate cars for this reason. It seems as if there is always something to do on them. At least I have found a reputible place to take my hondas. They don't try to rip you off at this place. Some other random thoughts for today....house selling and buying, what a headache!! Gotta sell this place, then find the right place to buy. Ahhh, it all gets so tricky. Then the whole realtor situation. Who to use, who not to use.
I love when Kelly smiles and laughs. It makes my day! She is such a good girl. I promise pics soon. I use the laptop most of the time and so all my pics are on the other. But don't want to wake up baby to get pics on here. Anyhow, today was pretty much a ordinary day. Oh and if your a Moeller there is some sort of sporting event everyday happening on your tv. Dang! I am not sure how I got myself into this. Oh well it is fun most of the time. Go Seahawks!! Superbowl??? We'll see.

It's just not that intresting

So I am feeling the pressure to have a blog...ok no, not really. It is a pretty nice way to keep everyone updated and read about my random thoughts. Also we will be posting pictures of our little family. Hoepfully I don't bore you all to complete bordem. Pics coming soon...
